Are you using a Smart interactive whiteboard with an ageing ceiling mounted projector? This could easily be converted into an integrated "All-in-One" Unifi-55 system simply by retro-fitting the short arm projector unit to your existing 560, 580, 660 or 680 SMARTboard. This not only negates the need for a ceiling mounted projector but also significantly reduces the annoyance associated with glare, distortion and shadowing.
A complete learning system, the integrated Unifi-55 streamlines your teaching experience, ensuring that students are at the centre of every lesson. The "retro-fit" utilises your existing SMARTboard giving you the fully integrated system at a fraction of the usual cost. It enables you to easily access and control your classroom technology, including the projector and other peripheral devices, right from the front of your classroom. This system comes with Smart Touch Recognition feature, which allows you to switch modes automatically.You can write with a pen, erase with your palm and move objects with your finger without having to access other tools, buttons or on-screen menus.
The only criteria required to retro-fit this system is that your wall is suitably sturdy and that there is sufficient room to mount the projector and board on the same wall. The Smart control box is included as standard and the very short boom arm is a minimal hazard compared with traditional ceiling projectors.
